Landowners Connect Key Ecosystems: Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) support for Corporación Serraniagua, a community environmental group, helped to expand the Serranía de los Paraguas Network of Private Reserves to 60 members and 2,500 hectares. The organization linked critical ecosystems in the Tumbes-Chocó-Magdalena biodiversity hotspot by encouraging local landowners to develop agro-ecological projects and engage neighboring communities in sustainable land-use practices.
