Improve the management of the Ngezi-Vumawimbi Forest Reserve and surrounding buffer zone in the northern portion of Pemba Island, which is part of the autonomous region of Zanzibar within the United Republic of Tanzania. Establish clearer boundaries for the forest reserve, train reserve personnel in biological monitoring, and engage community members in buffer zone mapping. Contribute to a larger community-based conservation and employment program.
