Assess the validity of Lowe's otter civet (Cynogale lowei) through comparative review of pertinent specimens with related museum specimens in Vietnam, England and Singapore, including microscopic hair analysis and DNA analysis, in order to provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to the IUCN Species Survival Commission Specialist Group and Vietnamese government authorities, and to guide decision-making for donors currently listing this as a priority species for funding.
