Reduce negative impacts of development projects on biodiversity in the Mountains of Southwest China Hotspot through applying environmental law to resolve conflicts between development and conservation agendas, strengthening the capacity of local civil society organizations to use the law to protect biodiversity through training and hands-on support in legal cases and publication of a biodiversity conservation law handbook.
