Build the capacity of the Papua New Guinea Environmental Law Association (PELA) in financial and project management, and strengthen its institutional structure to effectively empower local communities to protect biodiversity. Work through this grant will assist PELA to lay a foundation for future activities.

Strategic Direction: 4 Increase local, national and regional capacity to conserve biodiversity through catalyzing civil society partnerships
