Civil society and Co-Administration of the Los Cedros Protective Forest, Ecuador

Strengthen the role of the Los Cedros Scientific Station in environmental education, local capacity building for co-management and sustainable management of the forest. Involve civil society in the sustainable management of the Los Cedros Protected Forest and its areas of influence. Strengthen local capacities for the sustainable management of natural resources and to raise awareness among children and youth about the importance of the environment. Promote community participation with gender equity.
