Illegal, Unregulated and Uncontrolled Fishing has been happened in Balantak Waters since along time. It came from many different needs, such as trading. This situation affected also some priority marine species. CEPF support local CSO, Relawan untuk Orang dan Alam (ROA) to reduce intensity of IUU Fishing by establishing locally managed marine protected area in two villages.
