Reduce threats and support local women to conserve Quincemil and Río Araza Key Biodiversity Areas, by increasing conservation awareness in local communities, establishing management committees, creating an early warning system for threats, promoting ecotourism and associated businesses; and strengthening the gender capacity of the implementing organization.

Strategic Direction: 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
