Engage the local people living around Lake Ol' Bolossat KBA in crane conservation. Through awareness raising, school programmes, and training of local 'observers', this project will contribute to the implementation of a parallel project at this site, implemented by EAWLS, which will facilitate the gazettment of this KBA as a protected area.

Strategic Direction: 2 Improve the protection and management of the KBA network throughout the hotspot.
