Promote improved management of the forested area of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, focusing on the adjoining Surmatash State Nature Reserve and Uch-Korgon forestry estate. Help establish the basis for the formal listing of wild almond and wild apricot in the Kyrgyz Red Book of protected species. Support efforts to plant these species in their natural habitats in Kadamzhai district.
