Work with community forest associations to develop and implement participatory forest management agreements with the Kenya Forest Service which will allow the rehabilitation of exotic plantations by planting native trees. These actions will benefit the communities through improved watershed management and in time restore the ability of endemic bird species to move freely between the fragments.
