Build the capacity of civil society actors in Tanintharyi Division and link them with each other and to regional and national government. Establish and strengthen village conservation groups to survey, monitor and protect threatened species and their habitats, while seeking recognition by both the Myanmar government and the Karen National Union for community-based conservation by indigenous Karen people.
