Address ongoing declines in populations of Jullien's golden carp (Probarbus jullieni) and thicklipped barb (Probarbus labeamajor) in the Mekong River of northern Lao PDR by establishing a community-managed Fish Conservation Zone (FCZ) at Keng Mai Rapids, Xayaburi and Vientiane provinces, and taking steps to ensure the support of local communities and local government in enforcing FCZ regulations.
