Contribute to the recovery of sea turtles and generate wider awareness and training to local stakeholders. The project will take place in different parts of the Albanian coast, with a pilot turtle recovery center being established in the Butrint area. Local veterinarians will be trained in sea turtle rehabilitation techniques, rangers trained on how to rescue injured turtles and the public will be informed about the widespread problem and how to protect them.

Strategic Direction: 1 Support civil society to engage stakeholders in demonstrating integrated approaches for the conservation of biodiversity in coastal areas
