Improve coordination and collaboration between representatives and the technical staff of the three biosphere reserves of Kaffa, Yayu and Sheka forests in the Western Ethiopian Afromontane Forest Corridor. To encourage better conservation and sustainable development of the corridor, the project will involve zonal and regional administration, research centers and universities in order to work together more effectively on research and projects, and encourage information sharing and networking about key research projects' information, scientific works and stakeholder involvement.
Strategic Direction : 1 Mainstream biodiversity into wider development policies, plans and projects to deliver the co-benefits of biodiversity conservation, improved local livelihoods and economic development in priority corridors.
