Strengthen conservation of Gurney’s pitta (Hydrornis gurneyi) in Tanintharyi Region, southern Myanmar, by promoting community-based conservation measures such as threat assessments, supporting local conservation groups, training of trainers in conservation techniques, organizing awareness-raising activities to increase national pride in this threatened species, and increasing understanding of the measures needed to ensure its survival.
