Develop a model in Cotacachi Cayapas National Park as a path finder of alternatives for solving land tenure problems in the National Protected Area System of Ecuador, providing protected area directors with tools for land management capacities. The project seeks to analyze and identify a set of strategies that can promote responsible land tenure governance and provide the Ministry of Environment with a model to be replicated in other areas of its national system.
6 Strengthen civil society capacity, stakeholder alliances and communications to achieve CEPF conservation outcomes, focusing on indigenous, Afro-descendent and mestizo groups.
