Expand the current fire management program in Ankarafantsika National Park by working closely with three remote communities and piloting technology to monitor, report and mitigate anthropogenic activities. Enhance capacity, conduct behavioral change communication activities, and pilot alternative income generating activities, such as beekeeping and cultivation of citrus fruit.

Strategic Direction: 1 Empower local communities to protect and manage biodiversity in priority key biodiversity areas.
