Enhance ecological connectivity between the Periyar and Agastyamalai landscapes by mitigating the impacts of linear infrastructure. Assess barrier effects on large mammal movement, identify priority areas for mitigation measures for optimum restoration of connectivity, and formulate practical mitigation measures that can be integrated into road and railway engineering design. Promote uptake of recommendations by relevant stakeholders through consultative workshops.
