Conduct research to assess and monitor the populations of two globally threatened crayfish species, Astacus astacus and Austropotamobius torrentium, in the lakes of Prespa, Ohrid, as well as the tributaries of Shkumbini River flowing from Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park. Identify threats and provide conservation measures for those species. Raise awareness of stakeholders on the conservation status of the species. Develop a monitoring manual for the crayfish species in Albania, to be officially submitted to MTEA and NAPA.
