Prepare required technical report to create a new regional protected area targeting 75,000 hectares in the Kosñipata-Carabaya KBA. This grant will fund preparation of the report to include map preparation and a land tenure study, stakeholder consultations; technical support to local authorities; community capacity building in sustainable livelihoods, and awareness building to create support for the new protected area.

Strategic Direction :

1 Improve protection and management of 36 priority KBAs to create and maintain local support for conservation and to mitigate key threats.
