Literature review and recorded herbarium specimens will determine the profiling of 140 flowering plant species that are hard to find, disappearing, rare, threatened, or endangered in Tonga. The methodologies and categories used will be coordinated with the IUCN and other NGO and governmental conservation agencies so that the data can be used to revise the Red List of threatened and endangered plants.

Strategic Direction: 3 Build awareness and participation of local leaders and community members in the implementation of protection and recovery plans for threatened species
