Reduce threats from forest fires and agricultural encroachment in the Q’eros Kosñipata Regional Conservation Area, through strengthening a community management committee, establishment, training and equipping of community fire brigades, implementation of improved agricultural practices and beekeeping, environmental education and communications, organizational development, and integration of gender considerations.

Strategic Direction: 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
