Safeguard the Critically Endangered Long-nosed Harlequin frog (Atelopus longirostris) in northwestern Ecuador. Support sustainable livelihoods and income generation through green enterprises and sustainable agriculture to improve management of the frog’s habitat, capacity building and environmental education for local women and youth and updating of the conservation action plan for the species. Support conservation actions for the frog and a pilot re-introduction to suitable habitat. Strengthen civil society capacity to integrate gender considerations into conservation projects.
