Provide strategic leadership and local knowledge to build a broad constituency of civil society groups working across institutional and geographic boundaries toward achieving the conservation goals described in the ecosystem profile for this hotspot. Major functions include coordinating, monitoring and communicating CEPF's investment; supporting biodiversity mainstreaming into public policies and private sector practices; building local civil society capacity; managing a small grants program; coordinating a large grants program; and leading the development of a long-term strategic vision for the hotspot.
