Red-and-blue Lory (Eos histrio talautensis) is a endangered bird and endemic to Sangihe Talaud islands. It has long been exploited and illegally traded as pets. Local organization KOMPAK has been monitoring and campaigning against illegal parrot trade. With CEPF support they work with authority and community to reduce illegal trade of Red and blue lory trough campaign and law enforcement. No final report is available for this project.
