Further the institutional strengthening of the newly proclaimed 2.6 million-hectare Sperrgebiet National Park on Namibia's southwest coast. Grant funds will support finalization and dissemination of park regulations; development and implementation staffing, infrastructure, tourism and business plans; establishment of a public information center; and support for multi-stakeholder committees addressing the park interface with mining, coastal resources, the private sector and surrounding communities.
