Improve the capacity of community members in nine villages along the Mekong River between Vientiane and Luang Prabang to manage an expanded and strengthened network of Fish Conservation Zones for endangered Probarbus fishes in three provinces, and create a model for long-term sustainability of community fisheries management and freshwater protected areas in Lao PDR.
