Strengthen governance and build local management capabilities for the conservation in the Awá Territory of Ecuador (ECU 70). This project is led by the Awá Pambilar community, and includes collaborative planning to update the community's life plans (planes de vida), to facilitate agreements and planning to improve management and governance of the Awá ancestral territory in Ecuador.

Strategic Direction: 6 Strengthen civil society capacity, stakeholder alliances and communications to achieve CEPF conservation outcomes, focusing on indigenous, Afro-descendent and mestizo groups.
