Support implementation of a previous CEPF planning grant to improve management of the Paramo del Duende KBA, by funding preparation and implementation of species action plans for two endangered amphibians; strengthening municipal and national governance and management of the Paramo del Duende National Park; registering 6 new private protected areas; and training members of a local youth group in conservation.

Strategic Direction :

1 Improve protection and management of 36 priority KBAs to create and maintain local support for conservation and to mitigate key threats.
