Strengthen management of the Cotapata National Park and promote agroforestry for 100 farmers in its buffer zone to maintain connectivity and prevent forest fires. Support finalization of the park’s management plan, strengthen park guard capacity and infrastructure, expand the adoption of agroforestry practices, support marketing of products with attention to gender equity, and strengthen the capacity of project partners to integrate gender considerations into their work.
Strategic Direction : 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
