Support dugong and seagrass conservation in Vanuatu by monitoring four areas known for their high abundance of vital habitat and populations. The grant seeks to build community and civil society capacity for dugong and seagrass monitoring, and integrating the findings from the monitoring effort into local conservation measures, and into national marine and protected areas planning and policy.

Strategic Direction: 3 Safeguard priority globally threatened species by addressing major threats and information gaps
