Update the protected areas strategy for the municipality of Quito, strengthen management and build capacity for three municipal reserves through trainings, and strengthen the protection status for one municipal reserve as an example of an Other Effective Conservation Measure.

Strategic Direction: 1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
