Demonstrate a model for certifying that medicinal plants have been sustainably harvested and fairly traded. Strengthen capacity of wild-harvesters at pilot sites in China's Guangxi province in sustainable production and value-addition of targeted medicinal plants. Develop capacity and conditions for the application of the FairWild standard on wild-harvesting of medicinal plants for export. Stimulate demand for sustainably sourced, wild-harvested plant ingredients.
