Promote mechanisms for institutional, financial and social sustainability in the bi-national conservation corridor between Ecuador and Colombia. Assist Chachi indigenous communities to maintain access to Socio Bosque (which provides financial incentive to maintain land under forest) by updating communal land tenure and by strengthening local capacity for land management. In addition, the grant supports development and implementation of a bi-national conservation and sustainable development agenda.
