Improve integrated management of the Cijevna River basin by mapping threats, preparing a plan for mitigation measures, and organizing round tables and a conference. Build capacity of protected area managers, local communities and tourist organizations through an organized study visit to Slovenia to understand the benefits of salmonid species conservation. Increase the number of visitors and fly fishermen through a campaign promoting the Cijevna River Canyon as a fly fishing destination.

Strategic Direction: 2 Support the sustainable management of water catchments through integrated approaches for the conservation of threatened freshwater biodiversity
