Create a formally recognized Water Management Forum; improving knowledge of ecosystem values, restoration techniques, and climate vulnerability; promoting institutional alignment for formalizing and coordinating communal and commercial stewardship efforts outside the protected areas within the Umzimvubu Watershed; and establishing baseline monitoring information on the ecology, and social and economic development of the region.
