Update several strategic tools of the ecosystem profile for Ecuador, such as: (i) the priority Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA); (ii) CEPF Investment Conservation Brokers and Priority Clusters in Ecuador; (iii) Priority species for Ecuador. The objective is to propose a consistent and rigorous methodology that was used for the ecosystem profile that ensures that the prioritization be related to units that have comparable information, in this case corridors, sites or KBA.

Strategic Direction: 1 Improve protection and management of 36 priority KBAs to create and maintain local support for conservation and to mitigate key threats.
