The project will generate the flow of KsH 50 million per year, supporting restoration of 2,000 hectares per year of forest area in Mt. Kenya National Park. The project will also improve the overall management of the 71,500 hectare national park and the 199,500 Mount Kenya Forest Reserve.

Strategic Direction: 3 Initiate and support sustainable financing and related actions for the conservation of priority KBAs and corridors.
