Expand protection, reduce threats from unsustainable agriculture, and build women’s capacity for conservation in Bosque San Antonio Key Biodiversity Area. Support establishment of a new protected area, and promote adoption of municipal policies to support nature conservation. Support women-led green enterprises and women’s leadership and establish a women-led early warning system for threats identification. Strengthen capacity for integrating gender considerations into conservation projects.
1 Strengthen protection and management of 52 priority KBAs to foster participatory governance, green recovery from COVID-19, climate change resilience, species conservation, and financial sustainability.
