Develop and implement a conservation action plan for the Catadupa Key Biodiversity Area with local communities and experts, and conduct outreach to the public and government in order to revoke a mining permit for the site. Specifically, this grant supports biodiversity assessments through field research, focusing on amphibians; environmental education for surrounding communities; preparation of maps and a collaborative action plan; and outreach on the potential impacts of mining on the site’s biodiversity and ecosystem services.

Strategic Direction: 1 Improve protection and management of 45 priority key biodiversity areas
