Strengthen the co-management of the Loma Guaconejo Scientific Reserve by increasing the capacity of the co-management committee through integrating the mayors of the municipalities that affect the reserves and stimulating greater civil society participation. The grant also supports the exchange of experiences with other civil society organizations engaged in co-management of protected areas.

Strategic Direction: 3 Support Caribbean civil society to achieve biodiversity conservation by building local and regional institutional capacity and by fostering stakeholder collaboration
