Safeguard Vulnerable leatherback turtles (Dermochelys coriacea) in West 'Are'are, Malaita province in the Solomon Islands by addressing threats and information gaps. A series of community consultations will be facilitated by technical experts to inform the development of a turtle monitoring and recovery plan. Nominated individuals or local rangers will be trained in enforcing and monitoring this community developed plan.
