Provide a knowledge exchange that allows conservation actors in Costa Rica to learn from Lao experience with community-led management of freshwater fish, and actors in Lao PDR to learn from Costa Rican experience with locally-led and responsible tourism practices. Introduce the concept of freshwater fish conservation zones to Costa Rica and explore the potential to establish demonstration models in consultation with relevant government agencies.
