Improve coordination and collaboration between local and international civil society organizations working to conserve the critically endangered Saola in Lao PDR and Vietnam, by holding the 4th meeting of the IUCN SSC Asian Wild Cattle Specialist Group's Saola Working Group in Hanoi, Vietnam, to review recent progress, identify opportunities, and set priorities for future work.
