Establish a basis for long-term, community-owned conservation by carrying out sustainable land use planning with three communities in Cape St. George. This process is envisaged to ensure that communities are aware of their rights in relation to land and natural resources, better understand how they can assist with effective enforcement of environmental protection regulations, understand changes happening in and around their community and its impacts on sustainable resource management, and empower communities to better manage their resources.

Strategic Direction: 2 Integrate biodiversity conservation into local land-use and development planning
