Conduct fieldwork on five islands to increase knowledge about three endemic threatened species of bats and to consult with local communities in order to prepare species recovery plans. The project will then help to implement the recovery plans and conduct environmental education in the capital. The project also calls for training at least 10 Vanautu scientists or students in biodiversity assessment.
