Promote ecotourism, increase environmental and cultural awareness, and generate community revenue by holding the Chasquimaratón, a historical trekking competition along the pre-Colombian road network of Cotapata National Park in Bolivia. The project will fund logistical preparation, trail improvement, the establishment of a multi-stakeholder alliance, community engagement, public education, media outreach, and environmental protection and safety plans.
4 Promote and scale up opportunities to foster private sector approaches for biodiversity conservation to benefit priority KBAs in the seven corridors.
