Conserve the Critically Endangered Carex antoniensis an endemic plant species confined only to Ribeira de Paul, Santo Antão island. This project aims to assess the species and its habitat, build a nursery for reproduction of the species and raise awareness among stakeholders about the species’ conservation needs and efforts, including through the creation of an ecotourism route. Reinforcing management staff will also build capacity for the organization.
