Consolidate the results achieved by previous CEPF grants in La Amistad Biosphere Reserve by promoting mechanisms for institutional, financial and social sustainability. In particular, activities will target the Caribbean sector of the biosphere reserve and seek to establish mechanisms for stakeholder collaboration in the management of La Amistad; mitigate the impacts arising from infrastructure and development projects; promote financial sustainability; and strengthen institutional capacity of local organizations. No final report is available for this project.
